Session 1: The State of Open Data with a Focus on COVID-19 Pandemic

The landscape surrounding open data is constantly evolving where the demand for fast and accessible data is becoming more and more apparent. This session will revolve around how open data is displayed in a developed country, show best practices of open data in the UK, and the cross cutting sectors with open data, with a special focus on how the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for fast and easy access to data.

Session 2: Open Data and COVID-19: Emerging Challenges

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way how each institution works, and has posed unforeseen obstacles to our work. The emerging challenges deriving from this will have major implications in many aspects of our lives. This session will revolve around Open Data Charter’s work, its project relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the emerging challenges.
