Jennifer Sabourin, Ph.D., is Senior Policy Lead, SAS EVAAS for the K-12 team at SAS Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and is passionate about using technology to enhance education and building a generation of students ready to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven future. Her work focuses on developing effective, innovative tools and programs to help students build critical skills in the areas of data literacy and computer science. Dr. Sabourin has a long history of working towards broadening participation in analytics and computing through a variety of programs including NSF Broadening Participation, Technovation, and outreach initiatives at SAS Institute.
